    Add Shop E- Retail LtdA logistics manager is responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations of a company, ensuring efficient and effective management of goods, services, and information from their point of origin to the end user. This role is critical in industries like manufacturing, retail, and distribution, where smooth operations depend on timely delivery and resource optimization.Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, ensuring they are neither overstocked nor under stocked. Transportation Coordination: Oversee the shipment and delivery processes, selecting the most efficient and cost-effective transportation methods. Vendor and Supplier Relations: Negotiate contracts, maintain relationships with suppliers, and ensure timely procurement of materials. Budget Management: Optimize costs while maintaining quality and efficiency in logistics operations. Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies regarding transportation and logistics. Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of logistics professionals, including warehouse staff, drivers, and coordinators. Data Analysis: Use logistics software and analytics to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate risks related to delays, disruptions, or other supply chain challenges.Skills Required: Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously. Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing data to make informed decisions. Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
