Job Description

    Project & Maintenance ManagerPosition: Project & Maintenance ManagerLocation: Rajkot, Gujarat.Department: Operations/Facilities ManagementEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project & Maintenance Manager to oversee the setup and maintenance of new store locations. This role involves managing store openings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring the smooth functioning of store infrastructure, including electrical systems, security cameras, air conditioning, and other essential facilities.Key Responsibilities:Project Management (New Store Openings) Oversee the end-to-end setup of newly opened stores, ensuring timely completion. Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers for store construction and interior fit-outs. Ensure compliance with company standards, local building regulations, and safety guidelines. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for store openings. Ensure all necessary utilities (electricity, water, and internet) are installed and operational before launch.Maintenance & Facility Management Ensure the smooth operation of electrical, HVAC (air conditioning), CCTV, and other essential infrastructure in stores. Implement a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment and facilities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimizing downtime. Coordinate with third-party service providers for repairs and upgrades. Maintain inventory of essential spare parts and maintenance tools.Vendor & Contractor Management Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with service providers and suppliers. Ensure quality control and adherence to service agreements. Evaluate vendor performance and suggest improvements.Compliance & Safety Ensure all stores adhere to safety and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve potential risks. Maintain records of maintenance activities and compliance certifications.Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in project management, store setup, or facility maintenance. Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, security systems, and general store infrastructure. Experience in retail, hospitality, or a multi-location business is preferred. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and vendor management skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and maintenance software. Willingness to travel for store openings and maintenance checks.Benefits: Competitive salary.
