This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of the data collected through our proprietary no-code web scraping platform, Prowebscraper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining scrapers, as well as performing thorough quality assurance checks on the scraped data.Key Responsibilities: Scraper Setup: Configure and maintain web scrapers using Prowebscrapers no-code software. Data Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous checks on data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specified formats. Validation: Use regex, HTML, and CSS knowledge to validate and troubleshoot scraping outputs. Maintenance: Monitor and update scrapers regularly to adapt to website changes. Collaboration: Work closely with development and data teams to ensure the highest data quality. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of QA processes and findings.Qualifications:Technical Skills: Basic understanding of web scraping technologies. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and regular expressions (regex) for scraper setup and troubleshooting.Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in large datasets. Experience in data validation and QA processes.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively collaborate with team members across different departments.Additional Attributes: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
