Job Description

    Dear sir,We are currently looking for a Safety Officer for a reputed Solar company of Gujarat. Please find the details below:1. Designation: Safety Officer2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the solar, construction, manufacturing, or energy industry.3. Education: Any4. Job description:
    • Identify potential hazards and risks in solar installation sites or manufacturing facilities.
    • Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
    • Ensure all equipment and tools used are properly maintained and safe to operate.
    • Organize and conduct safety induction and training for new and existing employees.
    • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
    • Issue and monitor work permits (e.g., hot work, working at heights, electrical isolation).
    • Ensure fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency exits are functional and properly marked.
    • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure HSE standards are met.
    • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to incorporate safety measures in all activities.
    • Attend regular HSE meetings and provide input on continuous safety improvement.
