Job Requirement: a) Establish liaison with establishments under the manufacturing/Service sector/Industry clusters/Associations/school/college education system, district administrations.b) Create partnerships activities with stakeholders who could potentially supply apprentices and run appropriate registration drives in partnership with industries.c) Monitor and expand the apprenticeship training.d) Collect data of all employers and assist industries in manufacturing sector in hiring apprentices.e) Effective capacity building support to Basic Training Providers (BTPs)/Third Party Agencies(TPAs) as required/Provide short term training/holding of workshops and awareness programs.f) Provide inputs to IT consultant of SAMC for formulating effective reporting.g) Conceptualize and strategize effective communication strategy for promoting apprenticeship in the state.h) Encourage Dual apprenticeship program (Dual training mode) /Dual System of Training (DST) among the industries.i) Anchor/Monitor the administration and implementation of Industry Cluster Apprenticeship Initiative scheme of STRIVE.j) Any other activities suiting the profile as and when required by the Director, DTET. Key Skills: Qualification and Experience:a) Engineering Graduate with Post-graduation (Engineering, MBA, Public Policy etc.)b) Strong background in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET)c) Experience as Placement Officer / Industrial working experience minimum of 8 yearsd) Previous work in or with public sectore) Practice experience with apprenticeship trainingf) Strong communication and networking skillsg) Solid knowledge about apprenticeship legal and regulatory framework in India h) Understanding of modern apprenticeship approaches, including dual training h.
