(i) Overall implementation of all the components of the projects implemented by the Jharkhand Women Development Society (JWDS). He /She will manage, guide, supervise, evaluate, mentor all State Program Managers of JWDS who shall be reporting to him/her as well as oversee and guide junior staff at the JWDS/district and block level implementation units of the JWDS as necessary. (ii) Leading, planning, evaluating and operationalising the implementation of all components of the Tejaswini Project and coordinating with Chief Operating Officer as well as other senior and junior staff in JWDS and state/district/block level implementation units for the successful implementation of this project. (iii) Contributing to preparation of Project Design, develop work-plans to guide its implementation, establish effective monitoring systems to track progress at different stages of project/simple mentation and formulate evaluation strategies/tasks for the various program. (iv) Contribute to building a strong and motivated team to successfully implement the work of JWDS. Organise and plan training and capacity building activities for staff as and when necessary. (v) Leading, managing and overseeing the development of Program Implementation Plans and manage/ allocate the budgets of the projects implemented by JWDS. (vi) Supervising the Financial and Procurement aspects of the JWDS and ensure that they are executed in compliance with the existing rules and regulations of the government and/or relevant donor organisations. (vii) Supervising and overseeing the work of all the main departments of the JWDS and the staff assigned to these viz.,a) Program Implementation Unit; b) Policy, IEC and Research Unit, c) Training and Capacity Building Unit; d) Monitoring and Evaluation Unit; e) Administration and Finance unit. (viii) Regularly set targets, monitor, plan and review activities with junior staff to achieve successful implementation of projects tasks and activities. (ix) Report on project implementation and progress to Chief operating Officer and Chief Executive officer, as needed. (x) Contribute to institutional development and strengthening the capacity of district and block level units of JWDS to achieve effective program implementation. (xi) Train support; advise the staff and related consultants on approaches and tools to work effectively in accordance with the Project requirements. (xii) Liaise with World Bank team, line departments, educational institutions, training providers, and other stakeholders to establish necessary project coordination and accomplish operational requirements for day-to-day tasks. (xiii) Lead, participate as a spokesperson in and/or organize relevant seminars, workshops, consultations etc. as and when required. (xiv) Suggest innovative approaches and strategies that could be used to improve program implementation on the basis of recent literature and current thinking. (xv) Analyse, document and make presentations on the progress, impact, challenges and actions taken during the Project implementation. (xvi) Plan, organise and lead communication strategy/campaign and be responsible for advocacy work related to the projects of JWDS, where necessary. (xvii) Any other relevant task as delegated by the Chief Executive Officer or Chief Operating Officer JWDS/DWCDSS or other officials nominated by the Secretary to ensure successful implementation of projects of JWDS. ,
