Job Description

    Manager - Retail SalesPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Manager - Retail Salesto drive sales growth, lead market expansion initiatives, and manage dealer development for our generator business. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in genset sales, market sizing, product launches, and team management, with a proven ability to build a strong dealer network and achieve revenue targets.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Growth
    • Lead end-to-end genset sales activities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base across assigned regions.
    • Conduct product presentations, customer visits, negotiations, and deal closures.
    Market Analysis & Strategy
    • Perform market sizing, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting to support business planning.
    • Develop strategic sales plans based on market potential and customer requirements.
    • Provide insights to product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
    Dealer & Channel Development
    • Build, manage, and strengthen a network of dealers and channel partners.
    • Evaluate, onboard, and train dealers to ensure effective market penetration.
    • Monitor dealer performance and implement improvement strategies.
    Product Launch Management
    • Plan and execute new genset product launches in coordination with marketing and technical teams.
    • Ensure dealer and sales teams are trained on new product features, benefits, and positioning.
    • Drive post-launch performance tracking and feedback collection.
    Team Leadership
    • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
    • Set clear KRAs, review performance, and implement development plans.
    • Foster a high-performance culture with strong customer and dealer engagement.
    Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Proven experience in genset sales and power solutions industry.
    • Strong understanding of market sizing, dealer management, and field sales operations.
    • Experience in team handling with strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to conduct product demonstrations, pricing discussions, and competitive analyses.
    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
    • B.Tech is required.
