The ideal candidate should hold a Postgraduate degree in Psychology and possess excellent English communication skills. The role involves guiding students in academic, emotional, and career-related matters, ensuring their overall well-being and success.Key Requirements: Masters degree in Psychology (Mandatory). 5 to 7 years of prior experience in student counselling. Strong understanding of academic and career counselling techniques. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with students. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.Preferred Skills: Experience in educational institutions such as schools, colleges, or coaching centers. Knowledge of career assessments, psychometric tests, and guidance tools. Familiarity with mental health and well-being programs for students.Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to students on academic, emotional, and career-related concerns. Assess students psychological and emotional well-being, offering guidance on personal development. Assist students in making informed career choices and navigating academic challenges. Work closely with faculty, parents, and school/college administration to support students progress. Develop and implement counselling programs, workshops, and interactive sessions on stress management, confidence building, and career planning. Handle cases related to student anxiety, peer pressure, learning difficulties, and mental well-being. Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions and prepare reports as needed. Provide timely interventions and referrals to mental health professionals if necessary.
