  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience shipping consumer electronics products, with a focus on quality and performance with silicon or connectivity.
  • Experience with health and fitness products, algorithms, devices and AI/ML.
  • Ability to be comfortable solving ambiguous problems and challenging the status quo to create innovative, successful products, including strong instincts for knowing what users want.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance resources across teams, while ensuring milestones are met on time and with high quality.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to spread direction and bring other Product Managers, UXers and Engineers on board.

We do this by having a deep understanding of our users and bringing the best of Google, Fitbit specific software experiences, leveraging unique and differentiated hardware platforms and enablers.As the Software Product Manager for trackers, you will be responsible for leading the teams in the definition, development, and execution of the core on-device user experience, as well as foundational and performance-related initiatives. Beyond re-imagining the end user experience for the AI era, you will include driving critical areas such as silicon/component selection, system performance, battery life improvements, and connectivity related experiences.Fitbits wide range of innovative products, including smartwatches, trackers, and a smart scale, help people lead healthier, more active lives by empowering them with data, inspiration, and guidance to reach their health and fitness goals. Coupled with our leading software and Fitbit Premium, our immersive platform experience delivers personalized experiences, insights, and guidance to support our users health and wellness.   • Drive the product outlook that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction for Fitbit trackers.
  • Own feature Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) developed in strong collaboration with partner teams (e.g., Engineers, Program Managers, UX) during the product design phases.
  • Lead the team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or performance metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing features and experiences.
  • Lead the team through development and launch of features that bring unique and differentiated features to the marketplace at high quality.
