Job Description

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and other company equipment.
  • Ability to dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment.
  • Read prints to interpret part dimensions and tolerances
  • Machine set-up: i.e. Bridgeport millers, manual lathes, grinders, saws, sheet metal shears, sheet metal brakes, drill press and various other manual machine shop equipment.
  • Operate CNC millers and CNC lathes
  • Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy of part: i.e. Vernier calipers, micrometers, indicators, machinist scales, and optical comparator.
  • Assemble and wire manufacturing equipment.
  • Bench work includes any necessary operations such as filing, de-burring, grinding, and lapping.
  • Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
  • Mechanical Skills: Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Basic PC skills. 2+ years experience in machining or related field.
