Requisition: Quality Control OfficerLocation: Silvassa Preferred experience from: Plastic processing industry / Compounding and MasterbatchAge Group: 25- 35 yrsPreferable location of candidate: Gujarat, Daman, Silvassa.Rajiv Plastic Industries, a leader in the manufacture and sale of Colour Masterbatches and Polymer Compounds, has immediate opening for a Quality Control Officer. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties to adjust color on production lots and render quality control judgments for raw materials in- process and finished products. Duties include: the operation of weighing scales, analytical balances, blenders, mixers, lab molding machines and other related equipment; maintaining logs, records and data; performing computer color corrections in order to make appropriate colorant additions to production; giving final color approval for each product; performing in- process and final product quality control tests; etc.Qualifications - The position requires 3- 5 years related experience - Diploma in plastic processing technology / science graduate with CIPET diploma - Thorough knowledge of colorants, pigments, dyes and color matching - Must be familiar with polymer testing procedures - Must be computer literate and be able to run a Color Spectrophotometer - Knowledge of ISO 9000 documentation - Familiar with injection moulding and extrusion
