Job Description

We are looking for individuals that have the ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and will be able to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally. Candidates should hold or be expected to achieve a degree classification of 2.1 or above at M Eng level in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and have achieved Grade B or above in both Maths and Physics A-Levels (or equivalent).JOB responsibilities vary greatly according to applicants specialization. However, duties typically include

assessing the feasibility and the potential for commercial benefit of new sites
ascertaining extraction risks
producing models or plans for possible mining sites
planning and implementing extraction systems
using specialist computer applications to maximize planning and production
monitoring and evaluating underground performance
ensuring that operations comply with health and safety requirements
making sure that the equipment used is safe
training and supervising staff
- A crane operator is responsible for the overall maintenance of a crane.
- A crane operator is responsible for inspecting and maintaining a crane. This work requires them to have full knowledge of all the parts of a crane and their use.
- A crane operator is responsible for inspecting the condition of the site at which construction work has to be carried out before the start of the work so that there is no delay in the starting of the work.
- A crane operator is responsible for adjusting the crane according to the site conditions and making sure that all parts of the crane are in proper working conditions. In case any part is not working properly, then the crane operator is required to get it checked and improved.
- A crane operator is also responsible for transporting construction material from one place to another.
