• To lead the Technology & Platform Solutions team and to select and implement suitable technology for platform solutions to streamline all internal operations and help optimize strategic benefits.
• Oversee the design and build of platform services with appropriate levels of security, ensuring that they are secure by design. Respond swiftly to new and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities
• Provide technology platform expertise across the company as required, to support management teams and general development activities in building complex, dynamic products and services.
• Working with Product Engineering, Architecture, and Operations Teams to provide an in-depth evaluation of evolving and mature technologies, help shape the customer technology roadmap, and facilitate the delivery of the business strategy.
• To lead the R&D activities using latest technologies like Web 3.0, Metaverse, Geospatial.
• Monitor changes or advancements in technology and applications to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
• Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology and applications to advise management and suggest actions.
SkillsExperience:
1. 20+ years of Extensive experience and technical engineering knowledge of a broad range of platforms and web-based/cloud formation and distribution, stretching across platforms, consumer products, emerging technology standards, and trends, including defining platform roadmaps and long-term strategic plans.
2. Experience working with latest technologies such as IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Metaverse, Geospatial & Web 3.0
3. Strong and demonstrable software development and release engineering skills. The ability to do so in distributed environments, and/or environments without direct line management or without intense face-to-face contact is valuable.
4. A deep technical knowledge in software and systems able to dive into details with engineers, and distill to high level for executives, customers, and non-technical audience, valuing diversity of thought and finding consensus.
Must have skills:
1. Have led a team for development of Products and Platforms with experience of R&D
2. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse, cross-functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization
3. Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation.
4. Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously, while balancing business priorities and quality.
5. Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss, and explain issues coherently and logically, both in writing and verbally.
