Job Description

  • Qualification Graduation / MBA
  • Min 6 months for Agency Managers & 2-3 years of Experience for SAM (Experience in Insurance or any similar sales profile)
  • Age 38 years
JOB PURPOSE:Team Building:
  • Recruit quality resources to establish the channel in the given geography.
  • Ensure hiring is in line to the profile set agreed upon
  • Develop team members through regular and periodic reviews, monitoring and mentoring. Enable and track performance
  • Facilitate & provide regular training interventions (both classroom and on the field), as per agreed plan.
  • Ensure team is equipped to with necessary skill sets to perform optimally
  • Ensure that the defined sales process of the company is adhered to by the team
Achieving Business Plan:
  • Build and broad base the agency force through continuous recruitment and agent activization
  • Own business plan for the branch recruitment & business targets
  • Ensure that the team of Agency Partners/Agents is engaged, motivated and productive by forging a strong relationship with them
  • Ensure that new Agency Partners/Agents are constantly inducted, activated and productive for Team
  • Drive the incentive schemes to ensure that the income of the Business Development managers and Agency Partners/Agents exceed benchmark
Business Drive:
  • Own the resource and expense budget for the Branch
  • Drive the R&R schemes floated by HO from time to time
  • Support team members (both employees & Agents) in liaison with the
  • HO for addressing their requirements/ concerns
  • Being fully compliant to all the norms laid down by the regulators and
Analytical Skills &Domain Knowledge:
  • Designing Sales Strategies to achieve the business goals
  • Analytical skills to read, interpret MIS
  • Skill sets to handle a team of agents to achieve the business goals
  • Sound domain knowledge of the health insurance policies and practice in India
  • Good knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements and compliance
