Job Description

: Bluetooth Firmware Engineer, Wireless Connectivity, Google PixelLocation: New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, TaiwanExperience Level: MidGoogle welcomes people with disabilities.Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in coding with a programming language (e.g., C/C ).
  • Experience with Bluetooth application/framework/stack/controllers/drivers.
  • Experience in Bluetooth technology.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in Android Bluetooth with Watch projects.
  • Experience with application software development.
  • Experience in coding with Python or Shell.
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and troubleshooting skills.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Googles artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.Responsibilities
  • Work with different Bluetooth chip vendors to integrate new Bluetooth features and protocols on Google products.
  • Develop/implement/optimize reliable Bluetooth features and algorithms on the goal platform.
  • Design automated tuning/testing infrastructure to reduce manual effort.
