Manufacturing Test Development Engineering LeadLocation: Taipei, TaiwanExperience Level: MidGoogle welcomes people with disabilities.Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in manufacturing or test development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience with architecting manufacturing test solutions for CPU/GPU based products.
  • Experience with creating manufacturing test strategies that cover from structural through functional and system test.
  • Ability to communicate project requirements and schedules.
About the JobGoogles custom-designed equipment makes up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures in the world. The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this state-of-the-art physical infrastructure. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools, and procedures behind Googles powerful search technology. When vendors build parts for our infrastructure, youre right there alongside ensuring manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled. You collaborate with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers to determine Googles infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work ensures the various pieces of Googles infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience.As the Manufacturing Test Development Engineering Lead for Googles Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) team, you will lead the deployment of test infrastructure and will be responsible for understanding new product introduction (NPI) program test strategies, developing and managing test development schedules, managing test development budgets, and overall execution of test development. You will lead test development engineering teams to ensure products test infrastructure are designed, developed, and deployed on time into partner factories.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running.   • Coordinate and execute board and system level test development activities, and dependencies across internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage capacity, budget, schedule, and risks for manufacturing test development projects, and alignment with NPI program schedules.
  • Lead manufacturing test development teams through planning, development, and deployment of test solutions to support volume manufacturing.
  • Drive communication with stakeholders for test development status via reviews and dashboards, and work with design engineering teams on DFT and to manage dependencies for test development.
  • Develop technical documentation used for product test strategies, test plans, and test processes.
