Software Engineer, Camera and Media, AndroidLocation: New Taipei, Banqiao District, New Taipei City, TaiwanOverviewGoogle welcomes people with disabilities.Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C , Java, JavaScript, C).
Preferred qualifications:
  • Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in test automation and test automation framework.
  • Experience in Kotlin.

  • Learn about and keep up with mobile camera and media technologies at a high level, engage in the API development to make sure it is testable for conformance.
  • Integrate market leaders compliance systems with existing test framework and/or expand test framework to do so.
  • Help Android developers understand and use the camera and media APIs better, in collaboration with Android Developer Relations and Business Development teams.
  • Help Android manufacturers understand and use the camera and media stacks better, in collaboration with Android Partner Engineering and Business Development teams.
  • Learn image quality, video quality, and audio quality methodologies and practices.
