Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Were Hiring for Data ScienceRoles & Responsibilities :-Technical Lead of a larger team in the R&A COE team to work on various Data Science and Machine Learning projects.Specific Role requirementsMust have at least 4 years of deep experience in building descriptive/ predictive analytical solutions.Capability to clearly understand and articulate a data science problem and lead multiple projects with required support.Should have hands-on experience in handling various datasets and should be familiar with data science and machine learning technique likelinear regression, logistic regression, random forest, support vector machines, ANOVA/ANCOVA, optimization techniques, time series modelling, segmentation, decision tree, clustering, recommendation engines and forecasting.Ability to work on big data is a plus.Client Responsibilities:Need to work as a senior team member to contribute in various technical streams of Decision Sciences implementation project.Provide product and design level technical best practicesInterface and communicate with the onsite coordinatorsDevelop analytical strategies for business using model results of predictive modelling, time series forecasting, clustering and segmentation of customersDocumenting and presenting work to the client. Proactively recommending and influencing changes in business decision-making.Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the leadExperience and Qualification:B Tech/Masters or Ph. D. degree in either Economics (econometrics) or Statistics or MBA (with strong quantitative background) or Bachelors in Engineering with strong quantitative background and adequate industry experienceShould be at least around 5-6 years of experience in AnalyticsShould have understanding and experience of analytics best practices.Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skillsMust be a team player and team leaderYour people responsibilities (For People Leading Roles)Building a quality cultureManage the performance management for the direct reportees, as per the organization policiesFoster teamwork and lead by exampleTraining and mentoring of project resourcesMentor the team in a specific area of specialization (stats modelling, machine learning, SAS/R/Python programming etc.)Participating in the organization-wide people initiativesAdditional Skills requirementsExperience in Insurance/ Banking/ FinancePrior Client facing skillsPrior onsite experience is a plusShould have engaged in client interactions, participating in business workshopsRegards,Team HR
