Job Description

    Job Purpose:The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving business growth, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all banking regulations and policies.Functional Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement strategies to meet branch sales targets for deposits, loans, and other financial products.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling banking products to existing customers.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
    • Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
    • Act as the face of the bank representing its values and brand
    • Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, account opening, and transaction approvals
    • Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
    • Monitor branch performance
    • Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff to achieve their potential.
    • Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment
    • Monitor and mitigate operational and credit risks within the branch.
    • Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other regulatory guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
