Job Description

    The Business Analyst will undertake the following activities as a part of their job role: Developing Business Cases
    • Collect, validate and analyze data to quantify cost of inefficiencies and impact assessment of potential improvements suggested by the BPM CoE
    • Prepare business cases for BPM initiatives through cost-benefit analysis considering current and projected business volumes
    • Support the business/functional teams in prioritizing and selecting improvement initiatives for implementation
    Business Requirements Documentation
    • Assume techno-functional role and ensures accurate documentation of business requirements by working closely with business/functional stakeholders within the Bank
    • As owner of the business requirement document (BRD), be responsible for creating, modifying and getting sign-off on it from all relevant stakeholders
    • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications and engage with IT and vendor teams to communicate the same
    • Review functional specification documents (FSD) created by vendor teams and provide sign-off on it together with the banks IT team
    Implementation Assistance
    • Write user stories, especially for product development / improvement initiatives, before sending them for development to IT/vendor teams
    • Attend scrum meetings along with developers to build solutions that meet envisaged requirements
    • Create test scenarios for UAT and also take part in UAT along with business/functional stakeholders
    • Work alongside business/functional stakeholders to ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality
    • Communicate complex / technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders during implementation
