Vendor Management: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with reputable apparel suppliers Drive Negotiations to secure advantages terms, ensuring competitive pricing and on-time deliveries. Conduct regular evaluations of vendor performace to uphold standards of quality and reliability.Trend Analysis: Keep abreast of emerging fashion trends and evolving consumer preferences. Implement effective markdown strategies to optimise inventory turnover and clear slow moving items.Budget. Oversight: Develop and oversee buying budgets to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards Excercise cost-control measures through skilled negotiation and adherence to budgetary guidlines.Collaborative Approach: Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product offerings align with promotional initiatives and brand strategies Engage with store managers to understand regional market dynamics and adapt purchasing strategies accordingly.Requirements: Demonstrated track record as a buying or sourcing manager within the retail fashion sector.
