Roles and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate applications/database support activities through direct and indirect staff. Supervise IT teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning, and application/database support and enhancement practices.Provide leadership in the design, development, and support, and implementation of applications.Define scope and prioritization of work assignments.Utilize and promote the use of enterprise tools and development/support standards.Regular interaction with user community.To gather and document business requirements.Conduct process analysis.Draft conceptual designs.Define development standards methodology to accommodate the changing business priorities.Monitor application modification requests and ensure best practices are being utilized.Ensure proper implementation of application performance by the team (and other IT members), and resolving any troubleshooting issues.Evaluating employee performance and development, and provide training to the team members.Perform other duties as required.Skill SetsStrong attention to detail and deadlines.Outcome-based approach to work.MS Office expertise.Hands-on understanding of office devices, including desktop and laptop computers, printers, servers and network devices.Excellent organization skills.EducationBachelors or Masters in Computer/ IT with relevant IT CertificationsWork Experience7+ years of IT and business work experience including managing teams in systems analysis and/or programming functions in a combination of (experience may run concurrently).5+ years of systems analysis and design, including relational databases and client-server concepts and/or 2+ years experience with ERP Applications (Campus Management Solutions preferred).Strong understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle and project management disciplines.Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel).Preferred: Certifications in supported technologies.,
