Job Description

Designation - PLANNING ENGINEEREducational Qualifications- Engineering Graduate in any discipline (Diploma with relevant experience also preferred)Experience- 4-5 Years for the Engineering Graduates- 7-8 Years for the Diploma candidates- Should have experience in the industrial projects, especially in Oil & Gas as a Project Engineer- Should have experience in the fabrication of steel structures, piping, pressure vessels, skid packages & miscellaneous metal works.Skills & Knowledge- Excellent Project Management Skills- Good Planning skills- Should have knowledge in estimation- Good Design Skills- Knowledge on Manufacturing Methods and Procedures- Knowledge on Process Improvement- Should have knowledge on codes& standards.- Documentation Skills- Good organizational skills.- Good oral and written communication skills.- Good supervisory skills- Should have knowledge of MS Office & AutoCADOther Requirements- We prefer the person, who is having Experience in estimation & tenderingWork Orientation Factors- Full time at fabrication shop/ office.- May have to travel to work sites, in case of any requirements.Age -Preferably below 35YearsRoles and ResponsibilityPlanning, Scheduling, Estimation and Production

  • Assists Projects Manager in tendering and all projects activities.
  • Prepare estimates & offers.
  • Schedules, plans and oversees all projects
  • Selects the most appropriate techniques and logistical sequence of activities to complete the project scope within schedule and estimates.
  • Monitors progress periodically and compares it with the baseline planning.
  • Updates the schedule based on inputs received from project team
  • Determines appropriate logistics solution in managing resources
  • Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates
  • Prepares production/sales target and the monthly Progress reports
  • Attends the site visits during tendering.
  • Plans and schedules post award of projects.
  • Attends the project progress review meetings with client.
  • Arrange and distribute detailed shop drawings as and when required.
  • Project coordination as and when required.
  • Implements management decisions.
  • Ensures Safety of the workers.
