Job Description

Education And Experience:Secondary School Certificate or equivalent education.3 Years of experience in a Petroleum Refinery, Gas Processing Petrochemical Plant or other industrial, commercial organizations.Good spoken and writtenEnglish Language.Valid UAE driving license(minimum three years)Job profile:-

  • Drives laboratory vehicles inside the refinery,
offsite and jetty areas to collect and deliversamples of petroleum products including interLaboratory sample distribution, and Spare and
  • Consumable materials, Chemicals from warehouse
and other locations within the refinery andcollection and delivery of samples/materialswithin inter refinery Laboratories and ensuresproper maintenance of the Laboratory vehicles
  • Climbs the tanks carrying sample bottles to collect
samples of crude oil, Intermediate and finishedproducts, carbon black, coke products, collectssamples from export cargo vessels tanks andvessel loading lines besides other samples, as andwhen required, in accordance to internationalstandard sampling procedures and ISOrequirements.
  • Collects petroleum products samples, Propylene
and gas samples from Refinery Units, Utilities andGUP as per lab testing schedules as well as perrequest of Process, Utilities, GUP and ESD etc.
  • Collects solid products samples from Carbon black
and Coke Units as per Lab testing schedule,Process Engineering Section and Econmics andSchduling Department.
  • Coordinates with Jetty and Marine Section for the
addition of additives / on-board to jet fuel parceltanks of export cargo vessels
  • Carries out sampling of bulk chemicals from
warehouseas required.
  • Reports damages on the tanks sample hatches and
malfunctioning of sampling apparatus to thesenior laboratory technician for rectification andremedial action.
  • Prepares composites of various samples, labels
and seals as per Laboratory procedures as perADNOC Marketing requirements and delivers toexport vessels chief officer after making thenecessary entries in log book.
  • Ensures proper retention of samples of finished
products in laboratory for specific period of time.Catalogues samples retained in Laboratorysamples retention room and strictly follows ISO9001 procedures associated with retention ofSamples.
  • Removes wastes and spillages in the laboratory
sample rooms, sample collection area (tanks) andmaintains work area in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Cleans and prepares appropriate sample container
for collection of samples as per requirements.Cleans and arranges laboratory workbenches,racks, and cupboards.
  • Complies strictly with all HSE rules and regulations
of the company and safe handling of COMPANYassets.
  • Carries out other similar related duties as
assigned. This includes carrying and moving gascylinders, changing of High Pressure Inert Gascylinders, cleaning of laboratory equipment,ensuring proper maintenance of laboratoryvehicles and other routine jobs.
