We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our team developing new product features and new web application products in the area of unified communications management. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate about solving customer problems, and able to work independently with little supervision. The ability to perform in multiple roles and the desire to learn new technologies is required.Location:The Application Representative will work out of our downtown Minneapolis headquarters.Responsibilities:Perform full software product development lifecycle including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing and documentationTake ownership for the development of one or more new products or product features and the on-going support for those productsWork directly with customers to develop requirements and specifications for new products and featuresContinually look for tools to optimize the development process and then integrate those tools into our development environmentResearch new technologies and then integrate those technologies into our productsQualifications:B.A. or B.S. degree in computer science or a related fieldThree or more years experience developing web applications using C , C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript/JQuery, or related technologiesExperienced in using Microsoft Visual Studio development environmentExperienced with industry standard SCM tools such as SubversionFamiliar with Microsoft SQLFamiliar with or willing to learn enterprise telephony and messaging systems from vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, and MicrosoftDemonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership for solving new problems and delivering on commitmentsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical peopleAuthorized to work in the U.S.
