Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Operate DCS console to coordinate and regulate process variables and direct flow rates of various process and utility streams according to prescribed SOPs
  • Histogram & run charts are monitored for key process parameters.
  • Read processing schedules, operating logs, test results of samples, and lab recommendations to determine changes in equipment controls required to produce specified quantity and quality of product
  • Coordinate the start up, shut down (in normal & emergency) and normal operations with shift in charge and field operator.
  • Establishes production processing specifications by setting and programming processing controls; setting values, pumps, compressors and auxiliary equipment.
  • Co-ordination and Communicate with quality team and ensure right quality is produced as per specification.
  • Charge handover to next shift team
  • Responsible for recording, reporting and documenting operating data, and monitoring process indicators.
  • Upload the data in SAP
  • Perform basic calculations for determining process parameters and material balances
  • Responsible for preparation such as plant isolation etc., for day to day maintenance work
Desired Candidate Profile3-5 years in Chemical or Petro-Chemical Process plant having knowledge of High Pressure Air Blower/Compressor/Oil Pumps, monitoring & control and handling the equipment such as elevators, bag filters, mixers, conveying system, Dryers and DCS system Salary: INR 4,00,000 - 7,00,000 PA.Industry: Chemicals / PetroChemical / Plastic / Rubber Functional Area: Other Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent , Education:UG -B.Tech/B.E. - Chemical
