Job Description

Job TitleOn-Site EngineerLocation(s)Vadodara2.1 QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS

  • 5 (minimum) year s relevant experience with Diploma in Instrumentation
.2.2 INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
  • Should be able to communicate effectively with his working crew (Job specific/safety related)
  • Should be responsible, reliable and dependable.
  • Ability to understand &follow supervisor instruction.
2.3 JOB SKILLS
  • Should be able to demonstrate job knowledge & skill essential for executing his job effectively
  • Should be able to carry out and assist simple problem solving / trouble shooting in the field.
  • Basic knowledge of Documentation and record keeping.
2.4 HSE KNOWLEDGE
  • Know & understand Reliance and own company HSE commitment (Policies and objectives)
  • Conversant with basic safety rules for working in Refinery or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of various PPEs required for maintenance activity for safe working.
  • Basic knowledge of about assessment of risk and control measures.
  • Awareness of general Traffic Rules
  • Awareness on the types of tools & portable electrical equipment that can be used in hazardousarea.
3. TRADE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge about the requirement of analyzers in process industry and its importance.
  • Knowledge of operating principles of at least 5 different types of analyzer installed at JamnagarComplex (Like: GC, SOX/NOX, H2, O2, combustible, pH, conductivity, H2S, TOC, Silica, Physical Property analyzer, etc.)
  • Must have Hands on experience on maintenance and troubleshooting on at least five different types of analyzers (SOX/NOX/CO/O2/H2, GC, pH, Conductivity, distillation, Flash point, basic troubleshooting skills, etc.).
  • Knowledge about the sampling system components, its requirement and its basic maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and portable measuring instrument. (Multi meter, Portable flow meter, etc.)
  • Knowledge about different types of tube fittings used in analyzer system.
  • Knowledge and experience regarding safe handling and replacement of pressurized gas cylinders.
