Youre a problem- solver at heart, finding ways to express complex ideas through intuitive design . Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, web standards and usability . You turn out exceptional work in weeks, not months, and are able to jump in on a project at any point in its lifecycle . Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong knowledge of HTML5/ CSS3, including features and browser compatibility. A strong understanding of UX and layout strategy . Team player with a positive attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit . You thrive within a data- driven design culture and can quickly react to changes and new feature requirements driven by our user analytics. Understanding of responsive design and best practices for individual devices. Interacts and communicates effectively with all levels of staff, senior management, designers and developers. Communicates effectively and clearly, in writing and orally, both in one- on- one and in group presentation situations . (Bonus points) Your background includes direct marketing or UX experience. Job Responsibilities Produce, optimize and output final web- ready digital artwork. Work with art director and web design team to extend and optimize web functionality, site architecture, user interface and navigation. Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail on a variety of projects simultaneously throughout the creative and production process. Respond quickly to design challenges and new business needs. Help design seasonal marketing assets. Oversee and maintain confluence style guides and directories. Contribute and sustain patterning library for design and functionality. Brainstorm with team to create innovative brand communication, translate business strategies to elevate and evolve the brand. Collaborate closely with clients and marketing to translate business strategy into compelling, brand- right creative. Ensure deadlines for assigned projects are met. Bachelors Degree (Design / Interactive) or equivalent experience. Proven talent in graphic and interactive design. 3- 4 years Web design in an agency or a brand. Mastery of appropriate tools technology.Advanced Photoshop, with excellent digital photo- manipulation and compositing skills, working knowledge Illustrator, InDesign. Knowledge of best practices for Web image optimization. Understanding of the capabilities and best practices relating to the use of front- end Web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, AJAX. Motion graphics video editing experience for web (After Effects Final Cut Pro) a plus. Relevant creative background. Proven talent in graphic and interactive design. Strong retail/ fashion brand or agency experience desired; ecommerce experience ideal. Experience delivering on business and creative goals through design. Experience overseeing or editing copy a plus.
