Job Description

Primary Purpose:The Store Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the dairy plants store. This position involves managing stock levels, assisting customers, processing sales transactions, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.Key Accountabilities/Activities:
• Stock Management:
• Maintain appropriate stock levels in the store by monitoring inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
• Receive and unpack stock shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.
• Merchandising and Display:
• Create attractive and organized merchandising displays to promote products and maximize sales.
• Ensure proper labeling, pricing, and signage of products.
• Customer Assistance:
• Assist customers in finding products that suit their needs and provide information about product features and benefits.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Sales Transactions:
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling payments, issuing receipts, and providing customer refunds when necessary.
• Follow the companys sales process and guidelines to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Complete day-to-day tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager, which may include restocking shelves, organizing displays, or updating product information.
• Visual Merchandising:
• Ensure the store maintains an appealing visual presentation by arranging products, adjusting lighting, and keeping the store clean and orderly.
• Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Stock Control:
• Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Accept new shipments, inspect for damages and discrepancies, and update stock records accordingly.
• Safety and Security:
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Adhere to security measures, such as preventing theft and maintaining the confidentiality of customer information.
• Store Maintenance:
• Keep the store clean, including dusting shelves, sweeping floors, and organizing storage areas.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor or manager.
• Teamwork and Collaboration:
• Contribute to the smooth running of the store by cooperating with team members and supporting colleagues as needed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure efficient store operations.
Work Relations:Internal:
• Reporting to COO for all Functional as well as administrative purposes.
• Interface with Production, Quality Control Team, Maintenance, and Procurement teams
• Interface with HR teams.
External:
• Interface with various, suppliers, regulatory agencies, Service Providers
Qualification:Essential: ITI / XII / GraduateExperience:Essential: 0-1 Year of relevant experience
• Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling payments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of dairy products or the willingness to learn about them.
• Familiarity with visual merchandising principles is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with others.
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment: 24 X 6 (6 days a week)Shift Details: General Shift. (09:00 AM 5:00 PM), Shift might rotate
