Manages structural jobs with reference to PO requirement and be responsible for all technical issues. Ensure all pertinent input data is available for team members to complete the necessary tasks. Allocate the work to team and support them in their duties with routine and technical information. Execute designs of plant equipment for efficient structural design concepts. Perform structural design and analytical calculation using governing codes and standards, Resolve structural engineering issues with shop /client through design engineers Create and maintain company and reference standards for structural designs and procedures Strive for improvement in reducing cost and lead time of design and manufacturing process Research design options and document findings for optimization of products. Responsible for training and mentoring the team to build their technical abilities Provide input and ensure quality of output from team members. Monitor quality of documentation issued from engineering and strive for zero errors Perform special tasks as assigned Report any critical risks to the Engineering Manager
