Job Description

    Job Summary:The Assistant Manager Administration is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services required for the operation of the company. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers, as well as managing the entire procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. The Assistant Manager Administration will also be responsible for Materials Management, Purchasing, Contracts, Logistics, Imports & Exports, Inventory Control / Fixed Assets Management, Incoming Materials Inspection, Team Building / Staff Training, Quality Assurance / Control, Facilities / Safety Management, Customer Service / Guest Relations, Cost Containment / Control, Policies and Procedures, and Continuous Performance Improvement.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies that are in line with the companys goals and objectives.Identify potential suppliers and evaluate them based on price, quality, service, and delivery speed.Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing and terms.Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.Manage the entire procurement process, from purchase requisition to delivery, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine their procurement needs and requirements.Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of goods and services.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement.Create and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.Analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.Manage Materials Management, Purchasing, Contracts, Logistics, Imports & Exports, Inventory Control / Fixed Assets Management, Incoming Materials Inspection, Team Building / Staff Training, Quality Assurance / Control, Facilities / Safety Management, Customer Service / Guest Relations, Cost Containment / Control, Policies and Procedures, and Continuous Performance Improvement.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a managerial role.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with procurement software and tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Attention to detail and accuracy.
