Position Title: Technical Content WriterRole: Technical / Content Writer would need to have at least 3 5 years of experience Responsibilities: Writes, edits and posts web content, by either repurposing existing content or generating new content from scratch Works with subject matter experts to develop new content as needed to promote products, services, and thought leadership Manages web editorial calendar Creates content and interacts on social media channels Provides input and guidance on development of the website content plan with the goal of maximizing and consistently improving the quality of the user experience on the Information Builders website Researches website content marketing best practices May also contribute to writing and editing for other initiatives such as email and direct marketing campaigns Will develop and edit user interface content including on- screen and Support content, create project and site- wide terminology and style guides, and conduct walkthrough presentations to both technical and non- technical audiences. Develop new product support literature packages from product design documentation and information provided by subject matter experts in the engineering and service functions. Using material gathered from internal and external sources, create and/ or modify existing web content using the CMS. Ensure all content is proofread for error- free publishing. Responsibility also includes using the site content management system to develop and publish content on the company website. Write / Edit product related documents and develop new ideas for web content Write and update Marketing / Sales flyers on the latest digital ad formats Work with multiple teams to translate/ update technical content into user- friendly English Expert in Technical/ Computer Content Development its life cycle process / Updates/ Regular changes etc. Technical Skills Required: Experience in copywriting, B2B marketing communications, or similar role Strong communication skills with emphasis on strategy and creative content development for enterprise technology vendors. A basic understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, and website analytics Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities. Excellent communication and presentation skills Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail Previous integrated marketing and/ or product marketing experience is a plus Must have experience with Word, Publisher, Visio, HTML, PDF, Snaglt, and Web enabled products Desktop publishing experience including Frame Maker, Quark Xpress and Adobe InDesign Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills; strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (subject matter experts, project managers) to develop Web content, and possibly training materials and online help content Qualification: B.
