About the Business & Position OverviewGodrej Commercial Division provides the entire gamut of support services to all our Divisions at Branches. These services include Order processing & Customer Support, Warehousing & Logistics, Accounting and Administration and Legal support which enables Information Technology for efficient back- end operations. In addition, the Division also handles logistics from the Company s manufacturing Plants at Vikhroli, Mohali & Shirwal to the branches. Give inputs for planning of freight & implementation of plan as per the budget and continuously strive for cost reduction and operational efficiency.2. Supervision of Incoming and outgoing stocks into the warehouse & visual inspection of stock received for damages.3. Responsible for maintaining complete records, BaaN entries for stock inward.4. Proper storing as per stacking norms.5. Screening the Challans and forming Route for transportation. 6. Requisition for vehicles accordingly and coordination with transporters for the same.7. Verifying Delivery address, phone no. for individual customers and verifying any commitments given to individual customers and dealers.8. Timely MIS relating to Logistics.9. To guide team members for existing logistics processes to achieve operational excellence.10. Coordination & communication with Dealers & division regarding dispatches.11. Coordination with Authorities in Check posts / State borders to sort out issues of truck hold- ups or other associated problems.12. Maintaining Service Levels through order to dispatch time, productivity improvement and effective implementation of technologies.13. Organizing engagement activities for employee as well as stake holders at warehouse location.14.
