Job Description

    Associate Director of Engineering, you will oversee product engineering delivery and ensure that engineering procedures are followed. Partnering with our product management group and key business stakeholders, you will help create and drive our technology and product roadmaps through your technical expertise and ability to influence decisions. This leadership role is responsible for creating a strong engineering team and positioning them for success. You will be responsible for delivering cloud hosted SaaS and PaaS products.Essential Functions
    • Be a technical leader to product development team with experience of managing high performing engineering teams
    • Engineering leader has to be well versed with technology, architecture and Dev Ops
    • Right candidate will be involved in deeper technical, functional details to be able to define & track plans
    • Create a strong engineering culture by hiring and retaining engineering talent.
    • Promote innovation and collaboration across teams.
    • Advocate for simplification of processes, teams, and architectures.
    • Enforce software engineering best practices - Source Control, Code Reviews, Unit Testing, Test Automation, Automated Quality Metrics, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
    • Exposure to managing high volume Data and Analytics products
    • Plan and coordinate the work of engineering staff.
    • Oversee engineering staff and ensure that they meet goals and objectives.
    • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
    • Provide training and mentoring as needed.
    • Partner with infrastructure and cloud operation teams to set the platform teams purpose, vision, and technical direction.
    • Create a technology roadmap and architecture to build a robust, secure, and scalable platform.
    • Manage technical debt & infrastructure costs of the platform.
