Job Description

    Job Opening for Estimator / Commercial Manager. Location VIZAG. Send cvs to hidden_emailThe Estimator plays a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, participating in tender picking processes, able to use Lead to Deal of the CRM system. Having past background of operations (MRO) activities will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Tender estimation and analysis:Analyse tender documents and specifications to understand project requirements.Participate in the tender picking process, evaluating project feasibility and profitability.Collaborate with YMSPL management and the business development team to assess potential projects and prepare competitive bids and budgetary quotations.Cost Estimation:Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.Utilize estimating software and historical data to ensure precision in cost calculations.Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical aspects and incorporate them into cost estimates.Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, tender submissions, and project-related expenses.Prepare detailed documentation for tender submissions, outlining cost breakdowns and justifications for pricing.Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as an estimator in the marine engineering industry.Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles, materials, and processes.Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations processes in the marine industry.
