Job Description

JOB SUMMARYResponsible to plan, execute, review and ensure timely dispatch of Cattle Feed/ Feed supplements by extending support to the Sales team & field team with an objective to achieve the business targets.REPORTING STRUCTUREIncumbent will report to Business Head at Corporate OfficeKEY RESULT AREAS

  • Responsible for logistics plan for timely delivery of finished goods
Responsible for getting the indents on time from PPC Team and ensure to supply Feed, Feed Supplements on time without any deviation.
  • Responsible for submission of Invoice Inputs to F&A and other documents to prepare the invoice and necessary documents to release the vehicles.
  • Coordinate with Sales Team and make sure customer rejected materials are brought back to respective plants in a safest manner and keep the record of the same with proper approvals.
  • Lead the logistics team to ensure delivery of the products as per the Indent received from PPC.
  • Responsible for root cause analysis on leakages or damages and take necessary steps to minimize the inventory loses.
  • Coordination with plant team, sales team, transporters for timely dispatch of material
  • Responsible for periodical checking & verification of available stocks & record stocks as per the schedule.
Keep a track on dispatch records and submit the same to reporting authority from time to time
  • Keep up the logistics & inventory cost within the sanctioned budget. Explore various options to transport material for cost optimization Desired profile
  • Graduate with 12 to 15 years experience in logistics operations in any manufacturing company /Logistics organization. MBA or PG Diploma in Logistics/Materials management will be added advantage
  • Familiarity with geography of AP, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra
  • Willingness to work in fast faced work environment
