Job Description

    he Marine Superintendent/Senior Marine Superintendents primary role is to ensure safe operations of the vessels and compliance to all international marine requirements. He/She assists in the implementation and upkeep of the Safety Management System and will be required to conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to the statutory requirements of the International Safety Management (ISM) code and International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code. He/She is also alert to analyst risks and ensures compliance to the organizations risk management framework.The Marine Superintendent/Senior Marine Superintendent is also responsible for conducting per-vetting inspection on board the ship and follow-up. He/She provides guidance to the Master on board for nautical matters and also conducts incident investigation on board the vessel.
