Job Description

Role title:Solution ArchitectThe solution architect, member of Global New Product Introduction & Labs team, will be responsible for leading Service Delivery for Customer Projects in new Technology/Solutions/Products area and providing Domain Expertise to Local and Global delivery teams covering IMS / VoLTE / SDM / 5G / Cloud / CI-CD Domain. In addition, the Solutions Architect is responsible for enablement and scaling of required capabilities, from project experience and product/solution knowledge, to the local and global services organizations. For development of new technology and product capabilities, this team owns and operates global labs. These labs are a critical asset to the services organization to develop and validate customer solutions, and test and learn new technologies. Providing a unique opportunity to be exposed and gain hands-on experience on all the different levels, e.g. from different infrastructure HW, to cutting-edge technologies such as Container platforms, to the deployed workloads. General Purpose: - Provides leadership and a senior level solution consulting service in customer project; ability to understand customers business and technical needs and ability to translate them into a solution, Designs and executes complex integration, operations or performance solutions for customers & Shares professional knowledge to guide others. Main Responsibility Area: - Provides senior level solution consulting service, having expertise in SDM Portfolio {SDL, Registers UDM_AUSF, HLR, HSS, EIR, One-NDS, IMS Nodes, and One-MNP} ; acts as a source of expertise for colleagues Design and leads the identification and specification of complex solutions in complex customer environment. Experience:Relevant Telco Work Experience: 12+ yearsRelevant SDM Domain Experience: 7+ yearsPosition Description: -

• Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for overall technical solution.
• Own technical part of bid preparation: solution design/architecture, effort estimates, scope of work, bill of material, etc. and holding key role in contract negotiations to protect SI value.
• Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase.
• Creates implementation plan, technical infrastructure documents and test cases.
• Deploys, configure, and integrates Nokia products and/or Solution
• Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase
• Liaise with SI Engagement Architect and other members of the regional team as well as with Product Managers, Project manager and 3rd party product manager to align customer requirements with available generic solutions, Nokia products and 3rd party products
• Implements defined use cases in customer projects.
• Ability to troubleshoot call flow related issues and fixing the same
• Design and supports the migration procedures and implementation.
• Provides on-the-job training and acts as a professional coach and mentor for project staff.
• Networking/Connectivity and support Network/IP Planning & Design
• Automation of common tasks
• Technical expertise to project teams using the environments (project creation, configuration etc.)
• Transfers actively knowledge and experience from field to wider Services organization through Knowledge Management and Competency Development program.
• Works autonomously and effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve products and services.
• Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.
• Shares initial ideas for professional direction of own organizational unit.
• Advanced level on Operating System such as Linux or Solaris.
• Experience on networking troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark.
• Experience on virtualization - VMWare or Open stack
• Ability to play a role of Individual contributor as well as team player based on the project requirements.
• Good Communication Skills.

• Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE Networks and Call flows
• Solution design & Implementation of Core Network Elements focusing on SDM Domain SDL, Registers UDM-AUSF, HSS_HLR, EIR, One-NDS and MNP and overview of IMS/VoLTE/5G Solution.
• SDM Solution Integration.
• Subscriber Data base migration of SDL, HLR, HSS, EIR & MNP.
• Experience of installing HP hardware - inserting in racks, power and network cabling within the rack
• Strong knowledge in OS (Linux) and Cloud Computing (CloudBand, Openstack, VmWare)
• Experience of installing NT-HLR, IMS Node and One NDS Software on commissioned hardware
• Experience in Cloud + Virtualization and VNF Deployments
• Basic knowledge of Container(s), Dockers and K8 s, ETSI MANO Framework
• Good experience in Unix/Linux commands

• Good experience in Router and Switch configuration
• Good understanding of HLR, HSS, IMS and VoLTE Call Flows
• Basic knowledge of HP product details
• Basic Knowledge of firmware.
• Basic scripting language expertise (Shell script, PERL, Python, Ansible) would be added advantage.
