We are looking for a seasoned Snowflake Administrator to help drive platform excellence for large scale, complex technology projects Serve as a technical specialist of all aspects of Snowflake. As a Snowflake Administrator you will be responsible for enabling security, monitoring, and supporting on Snowflakes platform. You will also help define standard methodologies on Snowflake implement by closely working with SME, Architects & Cloud Specialists.

• Build, design, architect and implement high-volume, high-scale data analytics and machine learning Snowflake solutions in the cloud.
• Provide technology leadership in driving large complex Snowflake implementations
• Tune Snowflake for better performance and optimize utilization both on storage & processing
• Craft the monitoring requirements, automate them using python programming & implement
• Maintain deep understanding of complementary technologies and help organizations use Snowflake as part of their larger technology stack

Experience:

• Overall 8+ years of IT experience
  • 5 + years of experience as Core DBA on Oracle, MS SQL Server or any other RDBMS
  • 3 + years of experience on managing MPP systems like Netezza, Teradata or Greenplum
• Solid experience in Snowflake Administration
  • Working experience on Snowflake platform either in admin or developer role
• Strong coding experience using Python / Java / PLSQL to build API services and automation
• Experience on SQL & PL/SQL Programming
• Database Tuning experience
• Problem solving and good analytical skills
• Working experience on Cloud Platforms like AWS
• Prior experience on migrating Data to Cloud based DBaaS (AWS-RDS, Redshift, etc)
• Working experience or knowledge on ETL/ELT & relevant tools
