Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration ( 11g, 12c) Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard database administration Candidate must be able Create & maintains all databases required for development, testing, production and training usage Knowledge of Database installations and upgrades, regular PSU & CPU patching for databases Knowledge of Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support Register for database alerts and follow-up on db alerts on regular basis and take action as necessary Hands on Experience in managing Complex Oracle Environments Spanning multiple Oracle Instances / Servers Hands on Experience in Backup and Recovery - RMAN. Enforces and maintains database constraints to ensure integrity of the database Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum up-time of the database. Knowledge of Oracle troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex Issues Must have Operating System Knowledge on Windows / Linux / AIX Add-Ons: Proficient in English with good communication skills. Co-ordination with internal and external teams required to get things to closure. Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required Willingness to participate in non-standard working-time models (some off-hours/ weekend work may be required at times),
