Date live: Apr. 22, 2021Location: ChennaiReference Code: 90284919Business Area: COO & FunctionsArea of Expertise: FinanceContract: PermanentJob Title: AVP IR Markets Location:ChennaiWorking in close partnership with the finance counter parts & CFO BPs to drive business decisions Interpret and explain performance within the business on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis. Automating existing models so they run faster and more reliably Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues Support Backtesting / Month end O&U processWhat will you be doing Coordinate with various teams to monitor actual performance against target and provide understanding for variances Must take initiatives in understanding various systems such as Chorus , SAP , GMIS , Optimus etc. and linkages within those Report financial performance on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis, developing robust, automated procedures for delivery. Develop oneself as SME and provide assistance to all team members Carry out data mining and modelling. Conduct Ad hoc analysis to inform business critical decisions. Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders Collaboration across Internal Reporting teams - share best practice, influence business decisions and participate in cross finance initiatives Take ownership of processes, participate actively in one to ones, responding to feedback and identifying learning opportunities in the workplace. Automate manual BAU processes to improve productivity where possible Understand the complex business requirements needed to overcome financial and regulatory challenges and bring problem solving skills to document requirements and produce high quality outputs encompassing models, reports and proposals Own the BAU processes which are critical to stakeholders who use our data for reporting and modelling purposes. Oversee the input assumptions into the models and create process, controls around the assumptions. Document all work to a high standard with re-use in mind. Show keenness in ensuring the deliverables assigned locally to drive internal projects /operational requirementWhat we re looking for: Excellent leadership skills and a strong team player Experience in Management Reporitng, Planning and Analysis Articulate, possessing strong influencing and negotiating skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple business manner Excellent command of verbal and written English Ability to work under pressure and to tight timetables. Strong planning & organisational skills Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) skills Familiar with financial solution packages like Essbase, SAP BW, BO etc.Skills that will help you in the role: Graduates (B. Com), Postgraduates (M.
