Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting as per US GAAP - Minimum 2 years of Team Management experience- Excellent understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and tax compliance skills- Extensive understanding of QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills- Certified CPA, preferred. Candidates with equivalent qualifications will also be considered- Experience in a variety of industries and public practice situations What youll do - Build and train a team of remote accountants - Help the hiring team hire the best-in-class accountants and bookkeeping executives who will be working with various SMBs and Large enterprises based out of the US and Western Europe. Develop the training module for new joiners- Advisor to the sales and client success team - Act as a business analyst to understand various incoming accounting role requests, be an advisor to the sales team, and undertake deployment of resources based on the requirement.- Assist in successful onboarding of clients - Take a lead role in planning, coordinating, and facilitating engagements and clients requirements. Mentor the team to deliver excellent value to their clients.- Quality checks and standardize the output - Develop a Wishup Quality Checklist for various accounting and bookkeeping assignments, to be adhered to by team members. Lead the quality check team to ensure set standards output are delivered to the clients.- Retain talent to reduce attrition - Retain dedicated talent in your team by introducing various skill upgrade plans and implementing various engagement and team-building practices. The expectation in Week 1 -- Understand our business model, how we work, and who we serve.- Understand the role of various departments and how they collaborate for delivering an exceptional client experience The expectation in Month 1 - - Learn all about the current set of processes in place- Take charge of the existing team of accountants and understand how to boost efficiency in terms of work output- Learn about the client onboarding process and implement any onboarding suggestions to plug the gap for a successful engagement Expectation till Month 3 - - Nurture the relationships with the assigned team members- Coach and mentor, the new team members and monitor each engagement to understand areas of improvement and growth in terms of new deployments- Assist the sales and client success team in identifying the markets to deploy remote accountants- Assist the hiring team in identifying new markets to hire remote accountants Expectations till Month 6 - - Identify gaps in pipeline and process to drive growth from existing accounts- Demonstrate successful execution and implementation of the retention and training strategies- Build a solid training module that can be utilized to develop any incoming talent into an asset for our clients,
