Job Description

Visual Foxpro Developer Description

  • Required excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Visual FoxPro VFP 9 is mandatory.
  • Comparable knowledge of VFP 6, 7, 8 will be considered.
  • 7 to 10 years of Visual FoxPro 9 Experience
  • 7+ years of Object-Oriented Programming experience
  • Excellent, Strong and Commanding communication skills are mandatory.
  • Should have strong experience handling the Clients and able to work Hand-To-Hand with Clients
  • SQL Knowledge is required.
  • Experience using COM objects from a FoxPro application
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with a team of full stack developers to design, develop, unit test, and support new features.
  • Identify technical requirements and participate in peer reviews of solution design and related code.
  • Proactively learn product frameworks and code base; continually improve upon existing applications and learn new technologies.
  • Justify decisions made within the code being delivered and take ownership of any output.
  • Participate in performance tuning, testing, refactoring, usability, and automation; support, maintain, and help document software functionality.
  • Maintain coding, compliance, and security standards.
  • Provide maintenance and on-going support of past and future technical solutions.
