To succeed in this role you must have knowledge and understanding of principles of potable water, sewerage and drainage networks for a wide range of projects from planning through to detailed design, and client base from International Financial Institutions to cities and private developers. For our Engineering Centre located in Gurgaon, we are seeking a senior engineer with minimum of 15 years of professional experience to further strengthen our market position and competencies in design of potable water, sewer and drainage systems and adaptation to climate challenges in cooperation with our colleagues in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Singapore and China. You will be responsible for the preparation of network planning and design calculations, in collaboration with your colleagues in other parts of Ramboll Water. We expect that you will in turn be supervising a small group of engineers and CAD technicians, with the responsibility to both lead your own projects, and guide and teach others.Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech would be desirable, Should have 15 years of experience in drainage design, sewer design and potable water network design. Knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable, Should have experience on leading the international projects such as IFI, ADB/World Bank funded projects. Thorough knowledge and understanding of principles of drainage designs for cities, road, airport and rail environment in International projects, Thorough Knowledge and understanding of principles of water and waste water system designs in international environment. Knowledge of process and detailed design of STP/WTP is desirable. should have hands on experience in using any of the drainage design software (MIKE Urban, Civil 3D, SewerGems, WaterGems, InRoads (Storm & Sanitary), DanDasGraf. Knowledge of ArcGIS is desirable. should have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/Micro Station (preferred) and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formats, in addition to technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills Should have people management experience for larger design tasks Should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of projectProfessional English language skills (written and verbal).Willing to be stationed in other countries as required by individual projects.Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Knowledge and understanding of principles of water and waste water system designs in an international environment.,
