Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Elevate the brand everyday, across every piece of creative work produced, at scale
  • Bring creative flair to everyday interactions with users and potential users
  • Collaborate with business marketing teams to translate business growth targets into platform specific, persuasive creative communication to drive conversion in- app and across digital platforms (YT, FB, IG)
  • Step into the shoes of our users in each category: understand their worlds, motivations, triggers and barriers to using UrbanClap services, and build compelling, insight- backed messages to convert them to users
  • Identify opportunities across the year to proactively tell stories about our platform, to further brand affinity for users and the world
  • Actually write and write reams of high- quality copy: compelling and grammatically clean long- form website copy, telegraphic in- app action inspiring copy, as well as effective digital and mass- media scripts and integrated campaigns
  • Meaningfully contribute to the ideation and conceptualisation of marketing and content ideas
  • Work with teams to review the impact your work has had and continuously refine messages to drive results for performance based digital advertising
  • Develop content social brand strategy for social media presences across geographies and proactively translate strategy to creative output
  • Manage your own schedule and deliveries, prioritize your own work lists and project manage multi- stakeholder campaigns
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 4- 5 years of professional copywriting experience with a strong body of released work
  • Digital creative AND/OR traditional agency AND/OR in- house creative team experience
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
  • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
  • Social media or content marketing experience a plus
  • Strong bias for action, excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities
  • An Owner s Mindset: Innate curiosity to learn about how creative work impacts the growth of the business and drive to continuously refine work until it s world class; in terms of aesthetics creative performance
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on a multitude of concurrent tasks
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to think solutions first: Always thinking about multiple iterations variations for testing which design works better for users
  • Amazing attention to detail
  • A highly collaborative working style
  • Willingness to learn and unlearn on a weekly basis
