Job Description

*Data, Intelligence & Analytics (DIA) team at AXA XL is committed to building industry leading data ecosystem and engagement platform transforming our enterprise data warehouse, reporting, and management information capabilities. Master Data Management (MDM) is at the heart of the platform and architecture supporting this delivery. The MDM team is accountable for management of competency development, vision, strategy, and execution for all organization MDM and RDM (Reference Data Management) capabilities across the reference, party and product data domains.

  • Drive product championship of MDM to ensure existing capabilities and future direction are on pace with industry and business needs
  • Develop and promote continuous improvement to enable conversion of time spent managing BAU to future strategic initiatives
  • Delivery of project and production support changes / enhancement requests within defined SLA based on business priorities and demand

  • Support the advancement of MDM capabilities such as data models, hierarchy management, stewardship & workflow management
  • Lead the automation of reference data stewardship capabilities utilizing EBX workflows
  • Perform reference data management design & change requests as per business requests
  • Support MDM Architect to ensure MDM design & best practices are adhered to
  • Support the development of MDM capabilities in EBX across multiple domains (Reference, Master, Party)
  • Perform data analysis to understand data issues (e.g. suspect records) and proactively work with data stewards and other stakeholders to support resolution of data issues
  • Perform unit tests and UAT tests on MDM changes as per requirements
  • Coach team members in MDM design & best practices
  • Collaborate and integrate with other teams in DIA/Outside of DIA as per project/operational requirements to support Reference data management.
You will report to the MDM Functional Lead Reference Data & MDM.SHARE your talentWe re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
  • A minimum of three/four years Undergraduate University degree with 5 years of experience in master data management
    • Experience in functional areas: hierarchy management, matching/merging, data cleansing, workflows (Required)
    • Understanding on the MDM Technical Architecture / Data Modelling would be an advantage
    • Experience in data migration and data integration
  • Hands on experience working on TIBCO EBX(Preferred) or other MDM/RDM applications
  • Experience in Java & J2EE, SQL Server, HTML, Java Script, CSS, JQuery / Angular JS, Testing framework
  • Experience in SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 and greater) and TSQL development.
  • Hands on experience on application development skills especially with workflow definitions to support stewardship.
  • Strong understanding on Masterdata and Reference data across multiple domains such as Customer, Location, Reference desirably in Insurance / financial services.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and scrum framework.
  • Understand/hands on experience on Software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills(Required)
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills(Required)
  • Strong Organizational skills , time management, multi tasking and coordination skills(Required)
  • Working knowledge in Visio & Office 365 apps to support documentation & best practices in CoE.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Need independent & Mature indiviual who can work with global stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Understands cultural differences and is effective working in a diverse environment.
