Job Description

Career That Change Lives The Customer Trainer will report directly to the Global Training Director in Robotic Customer Operations. This training professional will deliver Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) technology training to surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties aligned with the core strategy. The Customer Trainer will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer training and training research initiatives. A Day in the Life Deliver training courses to Health Care Professionals (HCP) at designated training facilities. Topics will include:o Introduction to robotic surgery, features and benefits and systems comparisono System overview, instrument portfolio and accessorieso Pre-operative phaseo Patient positioning , ports and Arm Cart set upo Intra-operative use, surgeon and bedside activities and interactionso Console controls and activitieso Troubleshootingo Post-operative phaseo ReprocessingSupport commercial team in customer engagementsServe as regional Medtronic robot system design and usage expertEstablish relationships with broader Medtronic robotics team and within training facilities to encourage communication and provide a superior customer experienceWork with the marketing and sales training team in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to improve existing training programs

  • Support RAS system troubleshooting at the training center
  • Manage training center logistics, inventory and training calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • In conjunction with training center staff, maintain all capital equipment, including but not limited to the cleaning and reprocessing of instruments and accessories
Develop expertise in the following:o RAS System Technologyo RAS System applications and advanced technologyo OR Efficiencyo Training Pathway processo Training/coaching techniques/methodologies Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree required preferably in Clinical or Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Engineering or Education
  • Clinical and/or operating room experience
  • Minimum of 7 years Medical-device experience preferably in robotic surgery, Capital equipment or equivalent technology
  • High capacity and excellent problem solving skills
  • Solution oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High capacity to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent in English; multilingual highly preferable. Ability to be flexible with hours of operation
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, primarily to Gurgaon
