Job Description

  • Drive architectural design for full projects or a large module of a project, enforcing SOTIs engineering excellence practices and drive high quality in all phases of development
  • Do design and code reviews, mentor team members
  • Fine tuning of product on performance parameters and comply non-functional requirement
  • Coding and integration testing for application modules with minimum supervision.
  • Define and implement best coding practices and make sure it is being followed by team
  • Work closely with the manager to ensure the product is evolving according to need
  • Code complex component and lead team by example
  • Drive effort estimation for product and help create development plans with manager
  • Proactively keep a tab on emerging technologies, evangelize and lead adoption throughout the teams
  • Participates in architecture and design reviews for products that require complex technical solutions
  • Communicates technical constraints and design with ease and with relevant data and reference.
  • Mentor developers in resolving the technical issues and providing proof-of-concepts on latest technologies.
  • Responsible to create design artefacts (solution architecture, High and low level design)
  • Ability to articulate the understanding of requirements and the reason behind a suggested solution approach based upon future trends
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in the software industry, preferably with product companies
  • Minimum of 3 yrs. of experience in architecting, designing and implementing applications in any of the mobile platform
  • Hands-on experience in any of the mobile platforms like iPhone (iOS) / Android
  • Strong experience in integration between applications using APIs and enterprise workflow, rules and orchestration technologies.
  • Experience implementing security such as OAuth, SAML, Single Sign On, Mobile Device Management, etc.
  • Strong experience in designing and building RESTful APIs
  • Experience in Microsoft technologies - ASP.NET, Web API, WCF, Web Services, .NET Framework 3.5+, C# and SQL Server
  • Strong exposure to MEAN stack (MongoDB, Couchbase or any other NOSQL database, NodeJS etc.)
  • Excellent in Object Oriented Analysis & Design
  • Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
  • Strong skills in architecting on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Experience in Design documents, design patterns, experience and low level and high level designing on mobile platforms / applications, architectural design, road maps, Define, Design, Validate Application and Enterprise architecture to ensure that it meets the business requirements and performance goals
  • Hands on experience on understanding and implementing Design patterns, SOLID Principals based on product requirements
  • Technical visionary of opting and supporting best architecture for the desired product
  • Good oral & written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Should be confident, self-driven with a lot of initiative, and should have the zeal and energy to quickly ramp-up on upcoming technologies
  • Extensive Experience with Team Foundation Server or Git
  • Experience with DEVOPS and exposure in MS Build, Jenkins and CICD tools
  • Nice to have experience in PhoneGap and Cordova
  • Experience in TDD and various code testing framework
  • Highly desirable to have experience in building microservices
  • Nice to have exposure to containers like Docker, Kubernetes etc.
