- Leading Production, Engineering, and Projects & Quality teams at the plant to ensure that production targets are achieved within Budget, safety and hygiene standards.- Recommending/undertaking initiatives on plant expansions, productivity and efficiency improvements and cost reduction.- Ensuring compliance to factorys act, environment related compliances etc. at all stages of operations. - Promote peaceful and harmonious relation with all the labour, staff, union bodies and external Govt. and NGO bodies in line with the company vision.- Maintaining and improving of organizations Supplier Service level scores as per the targets. - Ensure seamless coordination within plant viz. QA, SCM, Utilities, Process & R&D to ensure efficiency.- Develop annual Factory plan and ensure delivery of production volumes at desired levels of cost efficiencies & product mix.- Ensure adherence to budgeted plant Costs & Efficiencies - Costs, M&R, Variances, Overheads, Re-work, wastages.- Monitor and Review overall factory performance to ensure costs, efficiencies & variances are within norms and ensure better inter department coordination on a regular basis.- Reduced downtime and improve Turnaround time of all the reporting departments. - Participate in the appraisal process of all direct reports.- Analyse production efficiency reports and variances on volumes, budget, quality and safety.- To manage and provide leadership support to the overall manufacturing Operations of the organization- Assist the Management in formulating policies and provide all facts needed for management decision making- Should come from a background of Pharmaceutical or Ayurvedic products- Should aware about ISO and HACCP systems.- Should be well versed with 5S, kaizen,lean manufacturing,TPM,TQM- Should have basic knowledge of machines related with processing.- Should know Bengali language.,
