  • Review the fortnightly payroll for accuracy and work with the payroll team to ensure controls are in place to reduce errors.
  • Problem solve and address escalated queries from the Shared Service Centre and employees (eg. Superannuation, salary sacrificing, overtime, over/under payments etc.).
  • Provide ad hock specific purpose payroll reports and data to various stakeholders within the business.
  • Assist with managing missing timesheets and related escalations.
  • Complete redundancy calculations.
  • Primary contact for Centrelink and Superannuation.
  • Oversee the PNG payroll process and leave calculations.
  • Manage the historical payroll data and complete detailed reconciliations where required for Workers Compensation, Superannuation, Long Service Leave and Leave Without Pay.
  • Provide guidance on and assist with implementation of legislation changes and internal payroll migrations/changes.
, Qualifications
  • At least 7+ years of relevant work experience in Australian payroll.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP and PeopleLink is highly regarded.
Knowledge & Skill
  • Other attributes include being organized, resourceful and flexible enough to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Must be hands-on and able to deliver quality work within the required timeframe.
  • Must have good communication and problem-solving skills with the initiative to reach out and communicate to others within the business.
  • Prior experience with Oracle, SAP, Excel, PeopleLink or other similar payroll systems is highly regarded.
  • Experience working with Shared Services is also highly regarded.
  • Meticulous, analytical, responsible and diligent, positive working attitude and a high level of initiative.
